I don’t work for Haven so I’m not sure what to say. I hope you weren’t discriminated against! I’m glad you ended up having a nice dinner.

my fam, consisting of 3 senioe citizens, my spouse and I went to haven tonight for dinner. when we arived I was informed that it would be no more than 30 minutes to wait. since we did not have a reservation I thought 30 minutes would not be too bad. what was supposed to be 30 minutes turned into 1 hour and 20 minutes. apparently the people who were at the supposed table we were getting were still at the table after 3 hours and neither the hostess nor the manager could move the people along, even though they were no longer eating or drinking and had the check on the table for 30 minutes.
needless to say, we decided to leave and proceeded to go to this fabulous italian place called Da Biancci Tratoria. we managed to get a table in less than 5 minutes; the waiters and management were ultra respectful of our parents, we had a great dinner that was reasonably priced and what started out to be a nightmare became a truly wonderful experience. Thank you to all the waiters and management at Da Biancci’s!!!! I would tryly hate to think that Haven Gastro Pub discriminates agaist senior citizens….would you…or is the service just what the experience was? In this world of competition where restaurants and pubs come and go, where would you be if your claim to fame is making your guests wait….by the way, how can a senoir citizen or a disabled person climb on top of some of your stools…even those in the bar area? not a very accessible place for a lot of the city’s citizens…how would you accommodate someone who comes in with a wheelchair? and is the bathroom wheelchair friendly? what would happen in a case where your pub is full and everyone needed to evacuate in a hurry?
who are you marketing your pub to and who are you discriminating against?

I’m sorry you had a bad time. I thought the portions were very good sized for the price and really enjoyed the experience and atmosphere. Did you mention to your waiter or the manager that you were disappointed? That should be the first thing you do at a restaurant if you are unhappy, I’m sure they would have offered a replacement meal

RIP OFF, STAY AWAY

1. It’s was 1 braised rib, not ribs, and a small one at that. Not good when the table next to you orders the same thing and it is 3 times, yes 3 times the size. 19 bucks, for about 3-4 OZ of meat, RIP OFF.

2. JUMBO PRAWNS, 5 normal sized shrimp, NOT JUMBO, have had bigger shrimp at the Vegas buffet bar.

We were still starving after these so called entrees.

3. Arrogant Bastard, great beer, always served in a pint glass. At this place 6 bucks for a tulip. RIP OFF.

The topper, the manager didn’t really give a CHIT. All he could muster were some b s excuses.

GO TO SOMEPLACE LIKE BEACHWOOD BBQ, MUCH BETTER VALUE.
